Join sopranos Yolanda F. Rachmaninoff Vespers: The Lenten Concert at FAPC

Brooke will sing with the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church chamber choir under Ryan Jackson's direction, presenting a seldom-heard, complete performance of the All-Night Vigil (Vespers) by Sergei Rachmaninoff. One of the world’s most celebrated sacred choral works, Rachmaninoff’s masterpiece transports the listener with its distinctive combination of haunting Russian Orthodox chant and smoldering, turn-of-the-century romanticism.

Leçons de ténèbres pour le mercredi saint

Sopranos Sally Sanford and Brooke Bryant perform François Couperin's stunning Leçons de ténèbres, in the context of the Tenebrae service on Holy Wednesday at Trinity Episcopal Church in historic Concord, MA. This piece is a setting of the Lamentations of Jeremiah, for virtuosic soprano voices, and is widely considered one of the masterpieces of the Baroque repertoire.

Bach & Vivaldi: The Fall Concert

Brooke will be performing with the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church professional Chamber Choir, as the choir presents the Bach Magnificat and the Vivaldi Gloria. These Baroque masterpieces celebrate the goodness and grandeur of God with dazzling sounds and buoyant rhythms. The performance is conducted by Dr. Ryan Jackson, with Patrick Kreeger, organ. Duruflé & Martin: The Lenten Concert

Brooke will be singing with the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church Chamber Choir in a performance of Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem alongside the ravishing a capella Mass for double choir by the Swiss composer Frank Martin. The performance is conducted by Dr. Ryan Jackson.

The concert takes place at First Baptist Church of Tarrytown (56 South Broadway, in Tarrytown New York).  Tickets are $15 at the door.  A wine-and-cheese reception will follow the performance.

The concert takes place at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church (125-131 Henry Street, Brooklyn, NY).  Tickets are $20, and a portion of the proceeds benefits P.E.O., an organization that provides scholarships and other educational support for women.  A wine and cheese reception will follow the performance.

Les Nymphes de Diane

Brooke Bryant and Sally Sanford (sopranos) collaborate with Rosamund Morley (viola da gamba) and Alexander Snyder Dunbar (harpsichord) to perform a program of French Baroque duets, featuring works by Couperin, Bernier, and Marais.  

The concert is presented as part of the Washington Heights Music Society concert series at Holyrood Episcopal Church (715 W. 179th Street in NYC).  Following the concert, there will be a wine and cheese reception.  

The concert is free, with a suggested donation of $20.
